Rum Runner Party Boat – FAQ
1. Do you serve alcohol?
🍹 Nope! The Rum Runner is BYOB (Bring Your Own Beverage). But don’t worry—Lagerheads Beach Bar at our departure point has all the drinks and food you need before you hop aboard. Grab your favorite snacks, stock up on drinks, and get ready for a true Key West party on the water! It is hard to please everyone drink of choice. So bring your favorite drink!
2. Where do we go?
We cruise through the Man-O-War Channel, past the Downtown Key West Waterfront, Sunset Key, and Christmas Tree Island, with water stops to cool off. On 4-hour trips, we make a sandbar stop where you can soak up the sun and enjoy the shallow, crystal-clear waters.
3. Can we swim and snorkel?
Absolutely! We stop at Christmas Tree Island or a Sandbar (on 4-hour trips) where you can:
✔️ Swim in warm, shallow waters (2-4 feet deep)
✔️ Walk the beach and search for shells
✔️ Use our Reef Viewers to explore underwater
✔️ Snorkel a shipwreck in just 6 feet of water (at low tide) just 10 yards from shore.
💎 Fun Fact: Treasure hunters with metal detectors have even found some cool underwater finds here!
(Guests must bring their own snorkel gear.)
4. Can I book the whole boat? How many people can come?
Yes! Booking the whole boat is the best way to experience the Rum Runner. Want to extend your trip? Book back-to-back time slots (if available), and we’ll give you a discount!
👉 Max Capacity: 16 guests (kids & infants count as a person).
👉 Pricing covers the first 6 guests, with just $15 per additional person (up to 16).

6. Can I bring my dog?
We love dogs (our captains even bring theirs sometimes!), but please let us know ahead of time if you plan to bring a pet.
✔️ Private trips? Pets are welcome! (Coast Guard requires a life vest for animals.)
✔️ Per-seat trips? If another guest isn’t comfortable with animals, you must leave your pet behind or forfeit your trip (no refunds).
